Welcome to The Little Stamford Company. We are husband and wife family run business that produces premium organic babywear using our own exclusive hand painted watercolours. Our prints are inspired by the British countryside and a love of babies (having had two baby girls of our own recently) and the brand name is a nod to Stamford, Lincolnshire where founder Holly spent her childhood was spent surrounded by dogs and ponies.
The business was setup in 2021 when Holly was on maternity leave. Never able to find beautiful baby clothes with ponies or gun dogs on she went about making them herself. Her idea was to create something akin to The White Company but with a rural theme. The Little Stamford Co has since become a firm favourite of rural families seeking quality babywear with prints depicting their lifestyle. The company has grown, reflecting the desire from this important niche market.
The company sells through our website, via trade retail partners and at various summer shows such as The Game Fair and The Yorkshire Show.

We use premium fabrics such as organic cotton and bamboo. These fabrics make our products extremely soft and breathable as well as being kinder to the environment than non-organic or synthetic alternatives.
The products are made with our manufacturing partner in their family run factory. This is close to where the organic cotton is grown and harvested. The organic cotton is grown without using fertilisers or harsh chemicals and printing uses no harsh dyes. It is important we know the supply chain and where the clothes are produced, as a commitment to ethical and sustainable clothing. We will always pick the best quality fabrics, and either natural and organic or recycled materials where possible.
We think the details matter so our products have a high quality finish - from the hand painted watercolour prints to the final article. We take great care to package orders beautifully and all orders are wrapped in our signature gift wrap free of charge.
